App Usage & Accounts
PunjabiShelf provides a 100% free platform to access Punjabi, Hindi, and English literature. To use the App, you must create a free account via Email/Password or Google Sign-In.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or exhibit suspicious activity.
Content & Copyright
The books available on PunjabiShelf fall into three categories: Public Domain literature, books hosted with permission, and user-submitted literature. We deeply respect intellectual property rights.
Personal Use Only: All content is provided strictly for personal, non-commercial reading. You may download books for offline reading within the App, but you may not sell, redistribute, or claim ownership of any material found on PunjabiShelf.
AI Chat Feature
PunjabiShelf includes an AI-assisted chat feature powered by Groq. This feature is designed to help you understand books, summarize content, and explore Punjabi literature.
By using the AI Chat, you understand that:
- AI responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete.
- You should not rely on the AI for medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.
- You must not use the chat to generate hate speech, explicit content, or illegal information.
Prohibited Conduct
To keep the platform safe and free for everyone, you agree NOT to:
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App, its APIs, or Firebase servers.
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to bulk-download books or extract user data.
- Harass other users or abuse the support channels.
- Upload or distribute malicious code or viruses.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
PunjabiShelf is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for perfection, we do not guarantee that the App will be completely error-free or uninterrupted.
In no event shall PunjabiShelf, its creators, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App, loss of data, or inability to access the service. Our platform is completely free, and your use of it is at your own risk.
